Catching a Once-In-a-Lifetime Opportunity on the DIY Network

We often hear from clients who experienced a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” when they were out house hunting and the perfect house appeared.

But in the case of Bryan and Hazel, the big opportunity wasn’t just to buy the house of their dreams, it was to have that house featured on the DIY Network, about home restoration!

Read on to learn more about their experience with historic house-hunting, working with the Full Circle team, and realizing their dream of fixing up a true historic gem on live TV!

Buying & Renovating a Historic Home

Bryan & Hazel had their hearts set on a historic home built in 1911. The home was livable, but the couple had a vision of what the home could really look like with some love and attention.

The home was so unique, it caught the eye of Brett Waterman, star of the DIY Network show “Restored”.

Waterman described it as “one of the best arts & crafts homes in the valley” and wound up featuring it in Season 4.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Bryan & Hazel and when asked about their experience with us, the couple had this to say:

Changing Home Finance Needs

Bryan & Hazel originally came to us looking for someone with significant experience in the area of upscale home renovations. Given our background in the short-term rental market, we knew exactly what to do.

Our initial loan for them helped them purchase the property so they could make the renovations they wanted.

But a little more than a year later, the value of their home had gone up significantly thanks to the renovations, allowing them to refinance their loan into more attractive terms.

That’s what we call a “win-win”

Friends for Life

We absolutely love it when people initially find us as clients, but quickly become friends. We also consider it high praise when people talk about placing their trust in us to handle their family’s important financial needs.

The couple said:

Thank you, Bryan and Hazel, for trusting us when it matters most. And congratulations on your amazing home renovation project!
