Many of us in the real estate industry can relate… love it or hate it, it feels like real estate is in our blood.

But what happens when it’s more than a metaphor? When you’ve got a sibling, parent or a grandparent in the business? 

That’s when you’re a lifer… like Heather Langley of Keller Williams.

But just because you’re a 2nd or 3rd generation real estate agent, that doesn’t mean you have everything figured out in the business.

Heather Langley will tell you the opposite. It’s about forging your own path to becoming a great agent.

An Unexpected Journey

Heather is one of those folks who grew up around the real estate industry. Her grandmother had been an agent her entire life. And as a young, married couple, Heather and her husband bought and sold several investment properties.

It was at that point that she and her hubby agreed, one of us needs to get our real estate license!

Around that time, her 2-year-old son was diagnosed with Leukemia and Heather found herself with a lot of extra time waiting in hospital rooms, so she studied and earned her real estate license in 2017.

When Values Align

 Realtor Kris Cowen was a friend of Heather’s and introduced her to Keller Williams. Heather fell in love with Keller Williams when she saw their motto: “Faith, Family, Real Estate” in action all around her.

She also found a special attachment to the “KW Cares” program which raises money for families in need.

Heather is one of those rare real estate agents who started with one firm and has stayed all along, never looking back or second-guessing her decision.

Early Lessons Learned

Heather noted that early on she, like many other real estate agents, were referring clients to many different lenders.

But none of the lenders really felt like good fits.

That is, until she met the team at Full Circle Home Loans.

Heather was amazed at the response times and closings. But more importantly, she was taken back by the kindness they showed, and the family environment in which they operated.

You see, Heather believes that success in the real estate world is about relationships. People do business with people they know and trust.

And finally, she had found that kind of lending relationship with the team at Full Circle.

Helping Young Families Buy Their First Homes

Heather has lots of experience in all kinds of real estate, but her real passion is working with young families in part because of her own experience as a young real estate investor.

She brings a unique twist on helping families buy homes together by getting the kids involved with the house hunt!

Looking Ahead to the Future

There’s no doubt Heather will use her experience and evolving skills to build a giant real estate business.

She believes the 2022 market will stay strong but warns that none of us have ever been through a pandemic, so no one is quite sure what to expect as we are all learning to navigate new things.
